Bilingual Field Interviewer – Vietnamese/English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform remote semi-structured interviews (via Phone) with older adults from a variety of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Collect valuable insights regarding participants' experiences and satisfaction with services.

• Independently coordinate and manage your interview timetable.

• Conduct interviews with empathy, fostering a comfortable and impartial atmosphere.

• Monitor call outcomes and access participant data through an online file-sharing platform.

• Document interview results, address discrepancies, and report findings.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal HIPAA regulations and data security protocols.

• Keep in regular contact with Vital Research for updates and assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with the capacity to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.

• Self-motivated and comfortable with independent work in a remote environment.

• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Zoom and other online platforms.

• Comfortable engaging with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating sensitivity to their needs.

• Exceptional communication skills to foster trust and rapport with participants.

• Must have a personal computer and a secure Wi-Fi connection.

• Organized with attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately.

• Previous experience in research fieldwork, particularly in interviewing or observational roles (preferred).

• Familiarity with working alongside individuals with disabilities, in group homes, or day centers (preferred).

• Energetic, resilient individuals with a sales-oriented mindset (preferred).

• Interest in professional growth for future roles in social research or graduate studies (preferred).
