Bilingual Elementary Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences to students on a daily basis.

• Provide tailored, personalized feedback utilizing various techniques.

• Differentiate instruction according to each student's level of mastery.

• Evaluate student progress and assess submitted assignments within the learning management system.

• Foster a welcoming classroom environment.

• Analyze student data to identify strategies for enhancing student achievement.

• Comply with state and client-specific policies, procedures, and deadlines.

• Assist in-class facilitators with classroom management, instructional issues, and basic troubleshooting in a virtual setting.

• Participate in monthly data analysis meetings and leverage student data to inform instructional decisions.

• Create and/or enhance course content using both asynchronous and synchronous tools.

• Build positive relationships with families and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.

• Obtain additional state certifications as needed and keep certifications active.

• Engage in additional projects as required.

• Exhibit a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Valid state teaching license.

• Florida Department of Education Elementary School Florida 5-Year Professional Educator's Certificate required.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

• Ability to pass the necessary background check.

• Capability to complete training within two weeks.

• Ability to work independently, typically exceeding 40 hours per week.

• Capacity to maintain a professional home office free from distractions during work hours.

• Open to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers.

• Willingness to embrace change and adapt to ensure outstanding student outcomes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.

• Preferred experience with the proposed age group.

• Desired experience in supporting adults and children with technology.

• Desired experience teaching in a synchronous environment such as Zoom or Newrow.

• Desired experience with online learning platforms.
