Bilingual Disability Calculation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Calculate and code offsets along with adjusted Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits using Navigator.

• Provide plan members with clear verbal and written explanations regarding overpayment amounts.

• Follow up with plan members to secure reimbursement for overpayments.

• Negotiate acceptable repayment plans when required.

• Proceed with claim recoveries utilizing Navigator.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong focus on customer service and the ability to convey difficult messages with empathy.

• Experience in calculating disability benefits.

• Strong mathematical aptitude.

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply provisions from group insurance contracts.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to learn from both successes and failures.

• Openness to change and commitment to continuous improvement.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.

• Experience with Navigator is considered an asset.
