This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate and process requests for access and file copies by thoroughly examining documentation and consents.
• Analyze and redact third-party information to adhere to privacy regulations and avoid breaches.
• Oversee and respond to inquiries from various shared email accounts.
• Complete follow-ups related to claims and perform administrative tasks.
• Accurately and efficiently manage vendor invoice payments.
• Conduct data entry and maintain records in claims management systems.
• Prepare, distribute, print, and send correspondence to claimants, clients, and other relevant parties.
• Adhere to privacy protocols when managing correspondence.
• Organize and arrange Medical Consultant calls.
• Assist in the onboarding of new clients, including file transfers and administrative coordination.
• Support claim operations and the provision of disability and life insurance services.
• Provide administrative assistance to both internal and external stakeholders, enhancing customer experience.
• Completion of post-secondary education, such as a college diploma or university degree.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
• Candidates from Québec must utilize both languages to assist clients from provinces outside of Québec.
• Previous experience in administrative or customer service roles, ideally within the insurance or banking sectors.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong dedication to accuracy.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with Adobe applications.
• Capability to investigate discrepancies, take responsibility for issues, and drive them toward resolution.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
