This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Provide outstanding, compassionate clinical care through real-time and asynchronous chat, along with other responsive care channels.
• Handle multiple simultaneous and asynchronous patient discussions with precise documentation and follow-through.
• Direct and manage patients’ medical care using a comprehensive framework, including the 5M approach.
• Work collaboratively with primary care providers, specialists, pharmacies, and specialty care teams.
• Facilitate coordination of care with patients’ family members and caregivers when applicable.
• Evaluate symptoms, address medication inquiries, analyze lab results, and manage new health issues.
• Refer patients for telephone, video, in-person, urgent, or emergency care as necessary.
• Retain responsibility for patient needs until resolution or a documented handoff occurs.
• Ensure accurate and timely EHR documentation in line with legal, ethical, and telehealth regulations.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance patient experience and outcomes through digital workflows and proactive communication.
• Participate in the development of digital workflows, standardized responses, escalation pathways, and quality benchmarks.
• Occasionally assist with broader Devoted Medical service lines.
• Offer flexible clinical coverage across Responsive Care Department queues and on-call services.
• Comply with pertinent laws, regulations, patient privacy requirements, and telehealth standards.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with advanced practice credentials.
• A minimum of three years of experience in primary care, house calls, internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, palliative care, and/or urgent care.
• Capability to assess AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy and safety.
• Active and in-good-standing RN and APRN licenses for Nurse Practitioners.
• Active and in-good-standing Physician Assistant license for Physician Assistants.
• Required licensure and certification in good standing.
• Ability to acquire licensure in requested states within 90 days of the hire date, starting from the signing of the offer letter.
• Additional state licensure as required.
• Prior experience with Devoted Medical is preferred.
• Previous virtual care or telehealth experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with real-time, queue-based, or high-volume telehealth clinical settings.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and coordinating care remotely.
• Comfort in managing complex or vulnerable patient populations in a digital-first environment.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing atmosphere with adaptability and curiosity.
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Working hours from 8am–6pm MST/PST, with consideration for EST/CST time zones.
• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, patient privacy, and telehealth standards.
