Bilingual Dental Insurance – Patient Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Confirm patient eligibility, deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, and frequency limits directly with insurance carriers.

• Assist with preauthorizations and predeterminations while accurately documenting results.

• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls in both English and Spanish.

• Adhere to office scripts for scheduling new patients, confirming appointments, and filling schedule gaps due to cancellations and no-shows.

• Keep patient demographics and insurance information current in Open Dental.

• Oversee appointment calendars.

• Use Weave for patient outreach initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Complete fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is mandatory.

• Practical experience with dental-specific insurance verifications, benefits documentation, and preauthorizations; general medical verification experience is not acceptable.

• Established background in dental appointment scheduling, front-office operations, and optimizing schedules.

• Previous experience with Open Dental and Weave is highly desired.

• Experience in a prosthodontic, periodontal, or high-volume specialist dental practice is preferred.

• This is a full-time contractor position, requiring 40 hours per week.

• Must be available Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm PST.
