This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Plays a vital role in our Life Insurance Brokerage by assisting brokers, clients, and managing the insurance process from lead intake to policy issuance and ongoing service.
• Coordinate life insurance cases from the lead stage through to policy issuance and servicing.
• Aid in client onboarding and guide clients through the application procedure.
• Process policy modifications (coverage changes, NS class, rating reconsiderations, beneficiary updates, cancellations, reinstatements, etc.) with necessary broker signoff; update and maintain precise client information (contact details, address, banking/PAD/CC, beneficiaries).
• Follow up on NSF payments and dispatch payment/renewal reminders.
• Conduct daily outbound calls to new leads for broker appointments (target: approximately 50 calls per day).
• Complete follow-up tasks and quote follow-ups assigned by brokers.
• Monitor applications and policy deliveries; follow up on pending signatures.
• Collect and manage PHI, medical records, APS, questionnaires, ID verification, and other underwriting necessities.
• Schedule meetings with brokers pertaining to approvals, ratings, or declined cases.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and maintain effective communication.
• Liaise with insurance company headquarters regarding pending documentation, payments, and case status.
• Ensure accuracy in Salesforce, including the “Application Submitted” tab.
• Keep Google Drive client files and documentation up-to-date.
• Support compliance requirements, record accuracy, and file audits (including legacy files).
• Provide client support throughout extended underwriting processes.
• Act as the scheduling point of contact for brokers and assist with processing outstanding items by gathering information and advancing the process.
• Undertake additional administrative or operational tasks as required.
• Ensure appropriate service coverage for brokers during their vacation periods.
• Bilingual (French & English).
• Experience in life insurance, financial services, banking, client service, or high-volume environments is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Proficient in Google Suite; experience with Salesforce and insurance software is preferred.
• Experience working with life insurance claims is beneficial.
