This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• The Bilingual Contact Center Agent is responsible for handling calls, making outbound calls, and resolving cases through various channels such as phone, email, chat, and more.
• It is essential to assess the client's mood in order to empathize effectively; actively listen or read to understand the customer's perspective and provide suitable responses or solutions in line with company policies and procedures.
• The agent must uphold high standards of quality and excellence in service, maintain a friendly demeanor, and embody Oportun's values in interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience or skills in Customer Service, sales, or collections are required.
• Proficiency in PC management is necessary.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of internet browsing and office applications is expected.
• A minimum educational qualification of 9th grade (Middle School with a certificate or evidence of completion) is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential.
