Bilingual Account Manager – English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact between the employer and broker, Client Executive, along with various Allied departments involved in the management of self-funded group health plans.

• Provide updates on industry trends, legislative changes, and ensure compliance with the ACA.

• Handle and resolve escalated employee concerns effectively.

• Organize quarterly meetings to assess plan performance, foster client relationships, and guarantee overall satisfaction to enhance client retention.

• Relay internal updates regarding changes to benefit plan design, financial data, and modifications with vendor partners.

• Prepare and conduct employee presentations, training sessions for the employer portal, and reviews of executive summary reports.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and enhance internal processes in collaboration with various Allied departments.

• Generate and review ad hoc reports as requested by clients, brokers, or Client Executives.

• Assist in the renewal process for existing cases by managing claims, updating plan documents, and overseeing open enrollment for current employer groups.

• Promote various Allied solutions to existing clients.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ experience in an account management position is required.

• Strong working knowledge of employee medical benefit plans is essential.

• Experience with group health insurance and self-funded health plans is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.

• Public speaking skills with the ability to present on benefits and compliance matters.
