Bid Manager – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the PS Pre-Sales process, including the collection of requirements, scoping, and estimating efforts for Arista solutions.

• Handle multiple concurrent requests by managing and prioritizing service inquiries from Sales and Partners.

• Keep precise database records on all opportunities specifically for forecasting purposes utilizing SFDC Opportunity data.

• Define the project scope-of-work, establish RACI matrices, create estimates, and set pricing to align with customer requirements.

• Process RFP responses generated by the BDMs, create Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and secure necessary legal approvals.

• Maintain accurate forecasting data based on SFDC sales stages, close dates, and Kantata information.

• Negotiate with department heads for personnel assignment to opportunities and facilitate project handoff and kickoff meetings.

• Provide consistent status updates to ensure effective dissemination of information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience managing professional services (technical services, advanced services) projects.

• At least 5+ years in an integration or OEM setting, focusing on the sales or management of large networking projects in the Enterprise or Service Provider sectors.

• Strong writing and organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and a disciplined work ethic.

• Experience in senior management roles at a competitor of Arista Networks is preferred.

• Proficiency in G Suite Tools, Kantata, and SalesForce CRM is required.

• Preferred Education: A Technical Degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science) or equivalent, along with ongoing training/certifications in network vendor products.

• PMI or project management-related certifications are advantageous.
