This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of the development and management of the architecture for Power BI workspaces and deployment frameworks.
• Ensure that setups are both scalable and stable.
• Design and automate the deployment and release processes utilizing Power Automate and the Power BI REST API.
• Model structured data sets for clients, tenants, and various versions.
• Create relational structures that incorporate versioning and validity logic.
• Implement SQL-based logging, status monitoring, and tracking mechanisms.
• Perform structured error analysis using status codes and logs.
• Orchestrate multi-workspace architectures securely while mitigating data leakage risks.
• Evaluate dependencies among reports, datasets, and dataflows.
• Ensure deployments are repeatable and idempotent.
• Establish strong ownership and governance processes across Sales, Support, and Automation.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams.
• Transform requirements into stable technical architectures.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform strategy within the Microsoft Power BI and Fabric ecosystem.
• Several years of experience in Business Intelligence, data engineering, or automation.
• Strong comprehension of relational data models.
• Proficient SQL skills, including JOINs, DML, and basic stored procedures.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, covering datasets, Dataflows Gen1/Gen2, deployment pipelines, rebinding, Service versus Desktop, gateways, and credentials.
• Several years of experience with Power Automate, including cloud flows, HTTP actions, error handling, concurrency, and asynchronous processes.
• Understanding of REST APIs and fundamentals of OAuth.
• Ability to read and analyze JSON structures.
• Capacity to identify systemic relationships and assess the impact of structural changes across multiple processes.
• Methodical and precise work approach with a strong emphasis on quality and security.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in written and spoken German.
