BI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations utilizing BI tools.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources including databases, data warehouses, and APIs.

• Conduct thorough data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Offer clear and concise recommendations based on data insights.

• Develop and enhance SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting purposes.

• Assist in the implementation and upkeep of data governance policies and procedures.

• Provide training and support to end-users regarding BI tools and reports.

• Remain up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or proficiency with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

• Capability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Experience with ETL processes from databases, data warehouses, and APIs.

• Strong data analysis skills for recognizing trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Proficient in SQL query development and optimization.

• Understanding of data governance policies and procedures.

• Ability to train and assist end-users with BI tools and reports.

• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
