Berber – Tamazight Over the Phone Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer real-time telephonic interpretation between Berber / Tamazight and English for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.

• Provide interpretation with precision, neutrality, and professionalism.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.

• Manage both scheduled and urgent/surge assignments effectively.

• Engage in training sessions, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Berber / Tamazight and English.

• Over 2 years of professional interpreting experience (preferably in immigration, community, legal, healthcare, or government sectors).

• Understanding of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

• Strong telephone communication abilities; capacity to maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
