This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct and document the review of benefit verifications.
• Provide details regarding specialty medications and home infusion services.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Patient Intake Coordinators for both new and existing accounts.
• Assess patient eligibility for the program by investigating the type and level of insurance coverage.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and insurance company representatives.
• Perform data entry in ACIS to maintain accurate reporting and outcomes.
• Offer feedback on self-reviews.
• Support and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by leadership.
• Proven experience in verifying benefits with insurance providers.
• Experience in data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Word.
• Preferred experience in home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME).
• Preferred background in a healthcare setting.
