This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
β’ Assist in the daily management of employee benefit programs, including life insurance, healthcare coverage, disability, retirement, and related initiatives.
β’ Focus on a specific area within employee benefits as necessary.
β’ Suggest modifications to benefits based on employee input and other relevant data.
β’ Coordinate the delivery of benefits and fund transfers with benefit vendors.
β’ Provide support to HR Business Partners in communication and administrative tasks for benefit programs.
β’ Contribute to the development of employee benefits policies and procedures.
β’ Act as a resource for employees regarding benefit programs, enrollments, life events, and complex benefit inquiries.
β’ Collaborate with employees and vendors to ensure a smooth benefits experience.
β’ Execute additional duties as assigned.
β’ Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in leave of absence administration, FMLA, or similar human resources roles.
β’ Strong understanding of FMLA, state and local leave laws, disability, and paid leave administration.
β’ Experience in collaborating with third-party disability vendors.
β’ Exceptional written communication abilities.
β’ Outstanding verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong analytical capabilities.
β’ Effective problem-solving skills.
β’ Empathetic approach.
β’ Strong interpersonal abilities.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience or education.
β’ No experience required.
β’ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0β25 lbs.
β’ Regular sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
β’ Regular use of vision and depth perception for near and far distances, as well as distinguishing colors.
β’ Frequent use of hearing and speech for effective oral communication.
β’ Ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning equipment.
β’ Regular keyboard use and data entry.
β’ Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping.
β’ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25β50 lbs.
β’ Rarely climbing.
β’ No specific professional license or certification required.
