Benefits Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reconcile benefit deductions with monthly vendor invoices

• Input vendor invoices into the company's accounting software

• Conduct monthly benefit audits to verify the accuracy of W-2 information

• Support HSA, COBRA, and STD payment processes

• Address employee benefit inquiries

• Assist in updating Benefits webpages with current documents and information

• Aid in communications and activities related to the Wellness Program

• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of systems and processes

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting is required, or equivalent work experience

• 3-5 years of experience in benefits, payroll, or accounting

• Capability to identify and address problems promptly

• Proficient in MS Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and CSV file uploads

• Experience with UKG, NetSuite, and third-party benefit brokers is preferred

• Eagerness to learn and utilize AI-enabled tools

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette

• Ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility in work schedule is required
