This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Manage a comprehensive benefits portfolio for the Americas region, encompassing private medical, dental, vision, pension, life insurance, and regional perks.
• Act as the primary administrator for the global business travel insurance process.
• Verify, process, and maintain data related to insurance premiums, claims, and costs.
• Collaborate with Finance to compile benefits data for management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations by reviewing existing laws and updates to legal requirements.
• Monitor benefit utilization by preparing and distributing benefit reports.
• Provide benefits-related data to internal team members as needed.
• Address team member inquiries and issues by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
• Generate special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Coordinate with our global team of brokers, platforms, carriers, etc., to ensure efficient program operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Compensation and Benefits role, ideally within the Americas region.
• Previous experience in an EOR/consulting industry is a plus.
• Exceptional data processing skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of compiling data in a clear manner for team members across different countries.
• A global perspective to address diverse needs.
• Proficiency in English & Spanish: Full Professional / Fluent (Required).
• Proficiency in Portuguese: Intermediate to Fluent (Required) - Note: Preference will be given to candidates fluent in all three languages.
• Strong analytical abilities, proficient in advanced MS Excel.
• Self-driven, independent, collaborative, adaptable, creative, and responsible.
• Eagerness and capability to work within a global team environment.
• Strong motivation to solve challenging problems and share insights with others.
• Nice to have:
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or automation platforms in HR/Benefits administration (e.g., workflow automation, reporting automation, chatbot support, etc.).
• Experience using data analytics tools to enhance reporting efficiency, monitor benefits costs, and optimize processes.
• Interest in advancing digital transformation within Global People Services to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
• Significant experience with statutory requirements for employee benefit plans and programs in the United States, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Puerto Rico, etc.
• 5 years of experience managing global or regional team member benefits programs.
• Experience in developing, administering, and implementing benefit programs, preferably within a large and complex organization.
• Working knowledge of human resources management principles and practices across all HR programs is preferred.
