This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
β’ Administer and oversee employee benefits programs, encompassing medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and optional benefits.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, addressing issues related to eligibility, coverage, claims, and changes due to life events.
β’ Lead the open enrollment process, which includes developing communication strategies, conducting employee education, and updating HRIS.
β’ Maintain and audit benefits data within the HRIS to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for employees.
β’ Proactively track benefits utilization and trends, identifying cost drivers and opportunities for savings.
β’ Assess benefit plan performance and collaborate with carriers, third-party administrators, and ESLβs insurance broker to implement design improvements or cost-saving measures.
β’ Manage benefit transitions, such as changes in plan design or carrier shifts, including project planning, vendor coordination, data analysis, employee communication, and monitoring of utilization.
β’ Generate and analyze HRIS reports to assist with benefits planning, compliance, and leadership decision-making.
β’ Continuously evaluate and enhance benefits-related processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
β’ Work closely with Finance and HR to project benefit-related costs and suggest strategies that align with organizational objectives and financial stewardship.
β’ Assist with carrier invoice payment processing and regularly reconcile benefits costs against payroll deductions.
β’ Frequently reconcile payroll contributions to employee Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, and the Retirement Plan.
β’ Stay updated on pertinent legislation and regulations (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA) and apply industry best practices.
β’ Support annual compliance activities, including retirement plan audits, annual filings, and notices.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
β’ Demonstrated experience in benefits administration and HRIS management, preferably within healthcare or senior living sectors.
β’ Experience in supporting or leading significant benefit transitions is highly preferred.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance standards.
β’ Proficiency in HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, UKG).
β’ Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to utilize data to inform strategic decisions.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and project management expertise.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and employee-focused approach.
β’ Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
