• Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive employee benefits programs.
• Manage health and welfare plans, retirement programs, leave policies, and wellness initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving the employee experience.
• Supervise the annual Open Enrollment process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and vendors.
• Monitor legislative changes and evaluate their implications on benefit programs.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to forecast and administer benefit budgets.
• Analyze cost trends and suggest modifications to plan designs.
• Create effective communication strategies to inform employees.
• Act as a resource for complex employee inquiries.
• Mentor and lead a team of benefits professionals.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
• At least five (5) years of experience in people management.
• In-depth knowledge of compensation analysis and benefits structures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and lead projects to successful completion.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to uphold strict confidentiality.
• Proven track record of managing benefits strategies for an employee base exceeding 8,000 individuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with HRIS benefit modules, such as Workday, Ultimate Software, or Oracle.
