Backup Analyst – Senior, Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in Backup and Storage environments to ensure the availability and protection of data.

• Provide support and troubleshooting in both Windows and Linux environments.

• Utilize monitoring tools to oversee environments and detect incidents, failures, and opportunities for improvement.

• Implement ITIL concepts and practices while managing incidents, requests, and changes.

• Analyze and resolve issues related to Backup, Storage, and infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for environments and procedures.

• Carry out other routine tasks within the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Networker and Data Domain.

• Experience in SAN/NAS Storage environments.

• Proficiency with Backup solutions, particularly Veritas NetBackup and Veeam.

• Understanding of NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel protocols.

• Knowledgeable in both Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Comprehension of ITIL principles.

• Experience using monitoring tools for Windows and Linux environments.

• Proactive, organized, and analytical mindset.

• Strong sense of urgency and focus on problem-solving.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team.

• Demonstrated responsibility and commitment to assigned tasks.
