Background Screening Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Manage Public Records products or services concerning Education and Employment verification related to pre-employment background checks.

• Adhere to ScoutLogic’s client guidelines and comply with FCRA regulations.

• Gather and input data from computer and web-based systems pertaining to an applicant’s background.

• Conduct searches and obtain information from files, digital records, and various documents.

• Efficiently locate information and documents in line with relevant laws and procedures.

• Provide prompt updates and inform of any potential delays.

• Possess a strong understanding of court systems, verifications, and terminology, and interpret results accurately.

• Communicate with courts to obtain additional information as necessary.

• Execute assigned tasks and responsibilities diligently.

• Report directly to the Senior Scout, Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a specialization in Criminal Justice being advantageous.

• 1 to 3+ years of relevant work experience is required.

• Familiarity with FCRA regulations is a plus.

• Experience with TazWorks background screening software is beneficial.

• Intermediate proficiency in Google business applications is an asset.

• Strong knowledge of the internet, including experience in internet research.

• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Proficient English speaking capabilities are required.

• Must be independent and detail-oriented.

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines is crucial.

• Working Hours: 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. CST.
