Backend Software Engineer – Focus on Coding, Modern Tech Stacks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create backend applications using Rails and Node.js.

• Enhance and maintain existing systems, optimizing them for expansion.

• Collaborate with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS/GCP.

• Assume responsibilities for operations, monitoring, and DevOps tasks.

• Guarantee code quality through testing, continuous integration, and oversight.

• Engage in AI-assisted workflows designed by developers for developers.

• Develop solutions for initiatives in sports, health, green technology, and telecommunications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enthusiasm for programming and a commitment to innovation.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Initial familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Strong interest in and experience with large language models (LLMs) and AI.

• Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks.

• A critical thinker focused on sustainable, high-quality solutions.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Willingness to provide a CV that includes a Git repository.
