Backend .NET Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and optimize system designs to pinpoint and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Break down tasks into smaller components and estimate development timelines.

• Conduct code and design evaluations.

• Spearhead research initiatives and proofs of concept for new features.

• Assist in prototyping new architectures and transitioning systems to them.

• Identify opportunities for enhancement and manage technical debt effectively.

• Mentor and lead a backend engineering team, promoting technical excellence, continuous delivery, and a strong sense of ownership.

• Maintain existing functionality and ensure backward compatibility for releases.

• Complete assigned tasks for testing and provide guidance to QA during the testing phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in .NET web development.

• At least 2 years in a Tech Lead role.

• In-depth expertise in .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and C#.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of backend architecture principles and technologies.

• Experience with SSE, Long Polling, and WebSockets.

• Proficiency in unit and integration testing.

• Experience with GitLab CI or other CI/CD tools.

• Background in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience with Kafka is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
