Backend Java Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain high-complexity, resilient, ultra-low-latency backend systems utilizing the Java ecosystem.

• Design, execute, and manage intricate CI/CD pipelines, incorporating multiple services and environments in distributed architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).

• Guarantee adherence to best practices for security, authentication (OAuth2), monitoring, and observability (Grafana).

• Make technical choices informed by trade-off analyses of algorithms, data structures, and performance in high-load environments.

• Promote the use of generative AI tools (Copilot, Claude Code) to enhance team productivity and elevate delivery quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in Java (modern versions) and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).

• Significant experience with microservices architecture, integration patterns, and messaging systems (e.g., Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ).

• Advanced skills in modeling and optimizing relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL storage solutions (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).

• Practical experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and load testing) aimed at quality assurance and high coverage.

• Proficient knowledge of containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud environments (AWS).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and observability practices (Grafana, Prometheus).
