Backend Engineer – AI-Driven Development, CTRM Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Develop design services, data models, APIs, and transactional boundaries based on outlined requirements.

• Convert requirements into agent-executable task briefs that are concise enough for verification yet substantial enough to warrant delegation.

• Take ownership of and enhance the project's agent context: `CLAUDE.md`, coding standards, architectural guidelines, and testing policies.

• Conduct thorough reviews of every change: focusing on data models, transaction and concurrency semantics, error handling, migrations, security, and performance.

• Create and maintain tests that capture actual behavior, particularly concerning financial transactions, rounding, dates, and state machines.

• Proactively refactor when the generated code is correct in isolation but fails to integrate properly within the system.

• Deliver work in two-week sprints adhering to a clearly defined Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building and managing production backend systems.

• Proven experience with AI-driven development as part of your regular workflow.

• Proficient in Node.js and/or Python, strong SQL skills, and comfortable with Docker and CI/CD practices.

• Business-level proficiency in the Russian language.

• Expertise in domain modeling, relational data design, transaction and consistency semantics, idempotency, concurrency, API design, testing strategies, and refactoring discipline.

• Ability to read, debug, and analyze code that you did not personally write.
