Backend Developer, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve features of the platform.

• Engage actively in both technical and functional enhancements.

• Evaluate the technical feasibility of suggested solutions.

• Conduct analysis and reviews of Pull Requests.

• Oversee environments and monitor application health.

• Offer support to operations and fellow team members.

• Ensure platform reliability by examining logs, alerts, and metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Familiarity with messaging systems.

• Experience in unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and AssertJ.

• Background in analyzing and reviewing Pull Requests.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Capability to work independently to identify and solve issues.

• Collaborative attitude and comfort in team settings.

• Sense of ownership throughout the entire development process, from design to production monitoring.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing contexts and priorities.

• Knowledge of AWS.

• Understanding of CQRS concepts.

• Experience with GitHub Actions and deployment pipelines.

• Familiarity with Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.

• Experience using Grafana and the ELK stack.

• Knowledge of Spring Cloud Contract for integration testing.
