This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design and sustain robust, scalable APIs using Laravel and Lumen, integrating with supervisory systems, IoT gateways, and external manufacturer and client APIs.
• Engage in the asynchronous telemetry ingestion pipeline, ensuring reliability, offset management, retention, and consumer performance.
• Process and structure substantial volumes of time-series data (MySQL + InfluxDB), powering dashboards, alerts, and real-time technical reports.
• Create and uphold automated routines (cron jobs, queues, and workers via Supervisor), guaranteeing continuous data collection and analysis.
• Implement and enhance caching with Redis and asynchronous processing, focusing on memory utilization, timeouts, and behavior under load.
• Troubleshoot equipment performance analysis algorithms and historical data processing, emphasizing efficiency and traceability.
• Develop and manage integrations with third-party APIs (solar inverters, client systems, token-based authentication, and mTLS).
• Collaborate with front-end, product, and operations teams to ensure uniformity across solutions.
• Maintain code quality by adhering to best practices, utilizing version control (Git/GitHub), conducting code reviews, and producing clear technical documentation.
• Extensive experience with PHP and Laravel (required); knowledge of Lumen is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MySQL — data modeling and query optimization for large-volume databases.
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose in both development and production settings.
• Familiarity with Redis (caching) is a plus.
• Knowledge of asynchronous queues in Laravel (queues, workers, Horizon) and scheduling (scheduler/cron).
• Competence with REST APIs and authentication methods (tokens, Sanctum, OAuth2).
• Strong analytical skills to debug complex data flows and identify performance issues.
