This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• You will become a vital member of the team responsible for Grupo Boticário’s logistics platform, aiding in the support and enhancement of systems that manage millions of orders.

• We are seeking a professional who is well-versed in the Java/Kotlin ecosystem and has integrated AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor) into their workflow to expedite code writing, test development, and documentation, all while upholding technical rigor and critical analysis.

• Development and Maintenance: Create robust solutions in Java/Spring Boot for both synchronous and asynchronous processes.

• AI Productivity: Leverage AI assistants to speed up boilerplate generation, code refactoring, and the creation of test data sets.

• Software Quality: Establish scenarios for unit and integration tests, auditing and validating automation code produced by AI.

• Collaboration: Engage actively in agile rituals (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to code reviews that emphasize best practices.

• Problem Solving: Examine bugs and performance bottlenecks in microservices using telemetry and logs for root-cause analysis.

• Promote and contribute to technical and functional enhancements;

• Implement integration solutions utilizing CI/CD and GitHub;

• Evaluate integration risks and devise mitigation strategies, ensuring the security, availability, and reliability of integrated systems;

• Design and structure code in an efficient and sustainable manner to support maintenance and future scalability;

• Contribute to the team, ensuring compliance with development standards and best practices;

• Foster a culture of business and technical oversight;

• Maintain, enhance, and review existing code through Code Review and Pair Programming;

• Investigate and resolve intricate technical issues related to developing cloud solutions on AWS;

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Java/Kotlin and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).

• Microservices: Comprehension of distributed architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Messaging: Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Databases: Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and familiar with NoSQL.

• AI tools for developers: Practical experience using AI agents to enhance productivity in daily tasks.

• Cloud: Expertise in deployment and architecture in AWS or GCP environments.

• Experience in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Experience with monitoring and logging;

• Understanding of REST and event-driven design;

• Experience with unit and integration testing;

• A critical mindset concerning performance and security;

• Software quality mindset: system evolution, problem decomposition, and abstraction;

• Proficiency with Git;

• Capability to conduct root cause analysis on software issues;

• Knowledge of asynchronous architecture with events/queues;

• Experience with information security patterns and practices (encryption, session management, access control);

• Familiarity with quality practices such as TDD, Unit Testing, and BDD;

• Knowledge of Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design is an advantage.

• Differentials:

• Knowledge of Kotlin;
