This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 11+ / 20 and Spring Boot.

• Create and implement solutions based on microservices architecture.

• Participate in defining distributed, scalable, and resilient architectures.

• Perform corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance of applications.

• Design, build, publish, and maintain REST APIs.

• Manage APIs using APIGEE / API Connect.

• Define access control policies, quotas, and traffic limitations.

• Oversee the API lifecycle from design to production deployment.

• Monitor consumption, performance, and availability of exposed services.

• Design integration solutions using service-oriented architecture patterns.

• Collaborate with development, architecture, and platform teams to ensure efficient integrations.

• Support modernization initiatives and the decoupling of monolithic applications.

• Engage in versioning processes and code management utilizing GitHub.

• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and similar frameworks.

• Ensure quality, security, and performance standards in developed code.

• Participate in code reviews and the establishment of best practices.

• Analyze and rectify vulnerabilities or issues identified in applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in microservices architectures, enterprise API development, and application integration, ideally within banking and high-availability financial services.

• Proficiency in Java 10+ or higher (20).

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Design and implementation of microservices-based architectures.

• Development, maintenance, and optimization of REST APIs.

• Familiarity with integration patterns and distributed architecture.

• Experience with APIGEE / API Connect.

• Management of the API lifecycle.

• Knowledge of OAuth2.

• Experience with JWT (JSON Web Token).

• Proficiency in GitHub and Git.

• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.

• Ability to work with both legacy technologies and modern architectures.
