Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding assignments encompassing bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and testing.

• Create clear, natural-language specifications alongside reference implementations.

• Develop and enhance unit and integration testing suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure modes.

• Ensure consistency between specifications, code, and expected results.

• Generate high-quality, production-like coding tasks.

• Deliver complete and accurate reference implementations.

• Provide extensive test coverage and validation documentation.

• Offer structured, actionable feedback during peer reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English.

• 3–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development in production environments.

• Proficient with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
