Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and execute coding tasks that span multiple files, including bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and testing.

• Create precise natural-language specifications along with reference implementations.

• Develop and enhance unit and integration testing suites.

• Assess peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure modes.

• Ensure consistency between specifications, code, and anticipated outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written proficiency in English at an advanced professional level.

• 3–7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and migration of production systems.
