Back End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage scalable and secure backend services utilizing C# and .NET/.NET Core

• Construct and document RESTful APIs for both internal and external use

• Implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices and design patterns

• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues within production and development environments

• Integrate with third-party APIs and services, ensuring optimal reliability and performance

• Contribute to the architecture and design of microservices and distributed systems

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support the automated deployment process

• Stay current with emerging backend technologies and suggest improvements

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core

• Intermediate to advanced spoken English proficiency (B2+)

• Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core

• Experience in RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit and mocking libraries

• Experience with asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and middleware

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts, including JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect

• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps

• Understanding of microservices, message queues such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus, and distributed systems

• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures

• Familiarity with version control systems like Azure DevOps

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including sitting, manipulating objects, reaching, talking, and hearing
