Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and configure high-quality back-end services that meet both business and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with UI developers to integrate custom UI with API and back-end elements.

• Utilize RedHat OpenShift to design, deploy, and manage containerized applications.

• Implement engineering best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Diagnose, optimize, and improve back-end components for enhanced stability and performance.

• Provide support for a modernized platform catering to mission-critical federal health systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, building, and configuring applications within modern back-end environments.

• Practical experience with Scala for back-end development.

• Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift or other similar container orchestration technologies.

• Experience in integrating back-end services with custom UI components.

• Capability to function effectively within remote Agile teams.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

• Must have work authorization in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.
