This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Actively seek out and qualify both inbound and outbound leads within the fintech, payments, crypto, and Web3 sectors.
• Take ownership of the entire sales process: outreach, discovery, proposal creation, negotiation, and finalizing deals.
• Create and sustain a robust, accurately projected pipeline using HubSpot CRM.
• Craft customized commercial proposals, including pricing models, interchange revenue-sharing frameworks, and integration scopes.
• Act as the main contact for designated partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular business reviews to discover upsell and cross-sell opportunities, additional card programs, new payment methods, and wallet infrastructure.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with partner stakeholders, ranging from technical leads to executive-level decision-makers.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, and Engineering teams to convert partner needs into actionable outcomes.
• Oversee partner onboarding and monitor integration processes using Jira.
• Prepare and deliver commercial materials, pitch presentations, and call briefs in collaboration with the BaaS leadership team.
• Maintain precise and current records in HubSpot, including deal stages, contacts, and activity logs.
• Leverage AI tools (such as Claude) to enhance research, streamline content creation, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Attend and represent Wirex at pertinent industry events and conferences.
• At least 3 years of experience in a commercial or business development capacity within fintech, payments, or Web3, with a proven history of successfully closing B2B partnerships.
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Web2 financial systems (including neobanks, payment processors, and card issuers) as well as Web3 business models (such as crypto exchanges, DeFi, and wallet providers).
• Experience with card issuing, program management, BaaS, or embedded finance, whether from a sales or operational perspective.
• Familiarity with various payment rails: SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, and Push-to-Card.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards for payments and digital assets in the EU/EEA, and ideally also in Southeast Asia or the USA.
• Proficient in using HubSpot CRM and comfortable with project management software (Jira or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: capable of creating professional proposals, executive-level presentations, and commercial correspondence.
• A self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote-first work environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Direct experience with stablecoin frameworks, including USDC, USDT, on-chain settlements, and on/off-ramps.
• Understanding of external authorization processes, KYC/KYB protocols (e.g., SumSub), or API-driven partner integrations.
• A pre-existing network of relevant contacts within the BaaS, embedded finance, or crypto infrastructure sectors.
