This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the implementation of institutional account strategies aimed at boosting revenue growth and enhancing customer retention.
• Identify and pursue new greenfield business as well as upsell opportunities.
• Execute upsell sales and educational campaigns targeting existing clients.
• Engage prospective greenfield clients to establish new business relationships.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at law schools and higher education institutions.
• Conduct discovery meetings and deliver presentations to assess customer needs and position BARBRI solutions effectively.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to create proposals and recommend solutions.
• Oversee opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
• Ensure accurate pipeline data and forecasting information is maintained within CRM systems.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, and implementation planning.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet individual revenue goals.
• Represent BARBRI at conferences, industry events, and client meetings.
• Work in conjunction with customer success, marketing, operations, and product teams to enhance client outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in legal education.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, account management, sales, or partnerships.
• Proven experience in selling to higher education, education technology, SaaS, professional services, or related sectors.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence stakeholders during the sales process.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and opportunities concurrently.
• Proficient in using CRM systems for tracking pipeline activities and forecasting.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Preferred experience working with law schools, legal education, or legal services organizations.
• Preferred experience in selling subscription-based, technology, or learning solutions.
• Familiarity with consultative or solution-oriented sales methodologies is preferred.
• Preferred experience presenting to academic leaders and institutional decision-makers.
• Understanding of the higher education marketplace and purchasing processes is preferred.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States full-time without current or future employer sponsorship.
