Azure Integration, DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and support Azure integration solutions.

• Create event-driven and serverless architectures utilizing Azure Event Hubs, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management.

• Develop and sustain Terraform Infrastructure as Code for consistent Azure infrastructure deployments.

• Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Automate processes related to Azure provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operations.

• Implement secure solutions employing Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC, and established cloud security practices.

• Monitor and resolve application, integration, infrastructure, and production issues utilizing Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Develop APIs, integrations, and automation using C#, .NET, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.

• Leverage GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and other approved AI-assisted development tools to expedite development, testing, documentation, and automation.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders to deliver solutions focused on mission objectives.

• Support a mission-critical environment for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure, cloud engineering, DevOps, software development, or systems integration.

• Secret clearance is required.

• Practical experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, and other related integration services.

• Strong expertise in Terraform/IaC and automated Azure infrastructure deployment.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of cloud security concepts, including RBAC, managed identities, Entra ID, and Key Vault.

• Excellent troubleshooting and automation capabilities.

• Experience with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.

• Proficient in Terraform modules and enterprise IaC practices.

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
