Azure DevOps Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist ICT teams in the development, integration, and deployment of backend systems as well as mobile and PC client applications.

• Aid ICT teams in managing and configuring system environments.

• Provide support to project teams during the system testing phase.

• Oversee and evaluate system performance and overall health.

• Identify and coordinate the resolution of technical issues pertinent to system environments.

• Liaise with system vendors and contractors regarding technical challenges on behalf of Frontex ICT.

• Assist ICT and project teams in deploying development environments in Azure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree, either BSc or MSc.

• Over 8 years of extensive experience in software deployment management.

• Proficient in software release management.

• Experience managing CI/CD processes for mission-critical, complex enterprise systems.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines specifically for ASP.NET applications.

• Strong background in administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on IIS, covering aspects like configuration, application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication methods.

• Understanding of Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security principles.

• Familiarity with RUP and/or Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of application servers.

• Experience with build and deployment tools such as Ant and Azure Pipelines.

• Proficient in Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with development tools and Git-based workflows.

• Ability to automate application deployments and updates to environment configurations.

• Understanding of RDBMS.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to participate in multilingual meetings.

• Capability to thrive in an international work environment.

• EU nationality is required due to the necessity for security clearance.
