Azure DevOps Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist ICT teams in the development, integration, and deployment of back-end systems and client devices, encompassing both mobile and PC platforms.

• Aid ICT teams in managing and configuring system environments.

• Provide support to project teams during system testing phases.

• Oversee and evaluate system performance and overall health.

• Document and coordinate technical issues pertaining to system environments.

• Liaise and communicate with system vendors and contractors about technical matters on behalf of Frontex ICT.

• Assist ICT and project teams in the deployment of development environments within Azure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.

• More than 8 years of extensive experience in software deployment management.

• Proficient knowledge of software release management.

• Background in CI/CD management for mission-critical complex enterprise systems.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications.

• Strong expertise in administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on IIS, including configuration, application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication methods.

• Familiarity with Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security principles.

• Understanding of RUP and/or Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of application servers.

• Proficient in build and deployment tools, including Ant and Azure Pipelines.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of development tools and Git-based workflows.

• Capability to automate application deployments and updates to environment configurations.

• Knowledge of RDBMS.

• Ability to engage in multilingual meetings with strong communication skills.

• Capability to operate effectively in an international setting.

• EU nationality is essential due to security clearance requirements.
