Azure DevOps Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist ICT teams in the development, integration, and deployment of back-end systems as well as mobile and PC client applications.

• Aid ICT teams in managing and configuring system environments.

• Provide support to project teams during system testing phases.

• Monitor the performance and overall health of systems.

• Identify, report, and coordinate solutions for technical issues related to system environments.

• Liaise and communicate with system vendors and contractors regarding technical challenges on behalf of Frontex ICT.

• Assist ICT and project teams in setting up development environments in Azure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree, either BSc or MSc.

• Over 8 years of experience in software deployment management.

• Extensive knowledge of software deployment management processes.

• Strong understanding of software release management.

• Proven experience in managing CI/CD for complex, mission-critical enterprise systems.

• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines specifically for ASP.NET applications.

• Significant experience in administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on IIS, including application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication methods.

• Familiarity with Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security concepts.

• Understanding of RUP and/or Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of application servers.

• Proficient with build and deployment tools, such as Ant and Azure Pipelines.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of development tools and Git-based workflows.

• Ability to automate application deployments and updates to environment configurations.

• Understanding of RDBMS.

• Capable of participating in multilingual meetings with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in an international working environment.

• EU nationality is required due to security clearance.
