Azure Cloud & Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, secure, and manage cloud infrastructure that supports dependable, scalable, production-ready applications.

• Take ownership of and manage Infrastructure as Code utilizing Bicep.

• Create and oversee Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, facilitating deployment transitions from UAT to production.

• Set up and maintain environments for Azure Container Apps.

• Execute and refine autoscaling strategies using KEDA.

• Work in conjunction with the API Management team to set up and integrate SoFiles storage with the platform.

• Enforce and maintain security controls that align with applicable security standards and OWASP guidelines.

• Integrate Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication, identity management, and access governance.

• Develop and uphold platform monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.

• Pinpoint infrastructure, security, and deployment risks, implementing enhancements for reliability.

• Partner with development, security, and platform teams to advocate for cloud engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

• Practical experience with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with deployment methodologies and environment transitions, especially from UAT to production.

• Proficient in Azure Container Apps and containerized application deployments.

• Experience in implementing autoscaling solutions, ideally using KEDA.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, focusing on authentication, authorization, and identity integration.

• Comprehension of cloud security principles, access management, and secure infrastructure setup.

• Awareness of OWASP security guidelines and secure application deployment strategies.

• Background in cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.

• Experience integrating Azure storage solutions with API Management services (preferred).

• Understanding of Azure networking, secrets management, and managed identities (preferred).

• Familiarity with security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security best practices (preferred).

• Knowledge of high-availability architectures and autoscaling strategies for high-volume workloads (preferred).

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, incident investigation, and platform reliability enhancements (preferred).

• Relevant Azure certifications in cloud administration, security, or DevOps (preferred).
