Azure Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust and scalable Microsoft Azure cloud solutions within enterprise settings.

• Spearhead the advancement and ongoing enhancement of Infrastructure as Code methodologies utilizing Terraform.

• Construct, oversee, and enhance Azure Kubernetes Service along with associated Kubernetes platforms.

• Create and uphold secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and infrastructure deployments.

• Establish and advocate for cloud architecture standards, automation frameworks, and governance practices throughout the Azure ecosystem.

• Assist development teams by providing guidance on cloud-native best practices, platform insights, and secure deployment strategies.

• Enhance platform reliability through monitoring, logging, observability, and proactive operational enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of five years of pertinent professional experience.

• Senior-level expertise in working with Microsoft Azure within intricate enterprise environments.

• Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform.

• Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and Kubernetes management in production settings.

• Solid background in software development along with a comprehension of cloud-native engineering practices.

• Practical experience in constructing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with identity and access management, secrets management, governance, monitoring, logging, and observability.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.

• Candidates must be Canadian residents, including individuals with a valid work permit in Canada.

• Strong analytical capabilities, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and deliver quality outcomes.
