This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design solutions hosted on Azure that fulfill both business and technical needs.
• Develop cloud environments that are highly available, scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Serve as the Azure Cloud Champion for App Development and DevOps teams.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
• Review security questionnaires in collaboration with application architects, DevSecOps, and Cyber teams.
• Promote best practices in architecture, development, DevOps, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Agile engineering, and quality engineering.
• Offer guidance to DevOps and development teams to facilitate seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Organize and manage infrastructure architecture review sessions.
• Mentor and provide technical support to junior team members.
• Coordinate with vendors and cloud service providers.
• Monitor cloud systems against established performance metrics and security criteria.
• Enhance cloud resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness through automation and monitoring.
• Implement strategies for disaster recovery while ensuring high availability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Report on the performance of cloud services and analyze cost trends.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud architecture.
• Proficient in the Azure Cloud platform, including PaaS solutions such as AKS, Azure SQL, APIM, and Azure Service Bus.
• Familiar with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and database management in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Source Code Management principles, covering code lines, branching, merging, integration, and versioning.
• Experience in creating Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Ability to adapt traditional SDLC phases to agile development phases when automating tasks related to cloud architecture.
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
