AWS Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the AWS solution design for an Enterprise Agentic AI project and serve as the primary technical representative to the client.

• Facilitate architecture discussions and client alignment while developing prompts, configuring agents, and establishing evaluation methods.

• Create the comprehensive AWS AI solution architecture for a multi-agent system utilizing Amazon Bedrock, RAG, guardrails, human-in-the-loop approval workflows, and governed writes to enterprise record systems.

• Evaluate the client's current AWS and AI landscape to define scope, assumptions, and dependencies.

• Conduct client workshops and coordinate efforts among platform, security, architecture, and data-owner teams.

• Deliver solution designs, architectural recommendations, project updates, and technical decisions to stakeholders and leadership.

• Establish methodologies for agent evaluation, acceptance criteria, and delivery sequencing throughout Agile sprints.

• Engage in hands-on prompt engineering, Bedrock agent configuration, and the setup of evaluation frameworks.

• Collaborate with business and technology representatives from the client to provide high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in AWS Solution Architecture, with significant client-facing enterprise consulting experience.

• Practical experience with Amazon Bedrock, Agentic AI architectures, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Vector Search technologies.

• Experience in Agile project environments.

• Strong knowledge of AWS, AI, and enterprise technology components and capabilities.

• Exceptional workshop facilitation skills, engaging client architects, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills for evaluating enterprise requirements and integrating systems, data sources, and AI capabilities.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for intricate technical issues.

• Understanding of delivery processes from requirement analysis to product release and post-production support.

• Expertise in Amazon Bedrock, Agentic AI solutions, multi-agent architectures, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.

• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise AI solutions using RAG, Vector Databases, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop approval mechanisms.

• Proven experience in assessing existing AWS environments to determine reuse or new implementations.

• Familiarity with AWS services, including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and cloud-native integration patterns.

• Experience with integrations of enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, ITSM platforms, and systems of record.

• Knowledge of AI security and governance aspects, including IAM, PII protection, auditability, and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with Bedrock AgentCore and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Experience in defining evaluation frameworks, acceptance criteria, and quality metrics for Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
