This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Leading and transforming infrastructure operations, observability, and command center functions across the enterprise to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance in hybrid environments.
• Driving a proactive, intelligence-driven operations model that utilizes AIOps, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Defining and executing the enterprise observability strategy, encompassing metrics, logs, traces, and user experience.
• Promoting the adoption of AIOps and intelligent monitoring platforms to facilitate predictive insights and automated remediation.
• Standardizing monitoring practices across applications, infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and databases.
• Enhancing MTTR, service visibility, and the end-user experience through integrated observability.
• Championing operational excellence in the management of Events, Incidents, Problems, and Changes.
• Establishing a proactive operations model aimed at early detection, prevention, and rapid resolution.
• Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and governance of the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
• Promoting service mapping across essential applications and infrastructure dependencies.
• Enabling impact analysis, root cause identification, and risk mitigation through the maturity of the CMDB.
• Creating monitoring and operations governance frameworks that align with ITIL, ISO, and regulatory standards.
• Ensuring audit readiness (SOC, ISO, regulatory compliance) and adherence to established policies.
• Defining KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards for visibility and accountability at the leadership level.
• Driving automation initiatives across monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows.
• Collaborating with Cloud, Application, Network, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure reliability of services.
• Providing executive-level reporting and insights on operational health, risks, and areas for improvement.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by at least 8 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a knack for mentoring and guiding a team of professionals.
• Extensive knowledge of AI and log monitoring tools, with a proven track record in successful implementation and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
• Experience in formulating and executing monitoring strategies focused on process optimization.
• Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring tools and technologies, along with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements.
• A results-oriented mindset, with a history of achieving and surpassing monitoring-related KPIs.
