This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Define priorities and responsibilities for the field leadership within Staples Technology Solutions.
• Oversee activities and track progress towards achieving annual objectives, particularly focusing on sales and gross margin targets.
• Lead and manage the effective execution of essential strategic priorities and initiatives for the Technology Solutions sector.
• Build robust working relationships with counterparts in Office Products and other Product Categories to promote a collaborative team selling atmosphere with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Technology Solutions VP/GM to define the business's strategic direction.
• Actively engage as a member of the senior leadership team to collectively set priorities, goals, and implementation plans.
• Interact with customers on larger project or programmatic sales opportunities.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with Staples' preferred suppliers.
• Serve as a role model for Technology Solutions Directors in effective executive sales engagement; enhance the sales process as necessary and support the closing of significant sales opportunities.
• Responsible for the recruitment of Technology Solutions Directors.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills in creative selling, project management, and strategic planning.
• Previous experience in setting targets and designing growth strategies.
• Experience in leading sales teams.
• Ability to interface at the highest levels within a customer organization.
• Proficient in customer relationship management software.
• Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to think strategically and solve problems analytically.
• High standard of professionalism and ethical behavior.
