This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Guide the team in formulating strategic business plans for National Account customers.
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with healthcare leaders, hospital administrators, key economic decision-makers, and strategic allies.
• Partner with clients and internal ETH/J&J stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met with enterprise offerings.
• Convert sector and business unit priorities into specific business plans tailored to channels and customers.
• Evaluate customer needs and coordinate internal resources to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Drive contract pricing, compliance, and execution efforts.
• Lead the National Key Account team, comprising KAM Directors and KAM Managers, to facilitate field contracting strategies, implementation, and performance assessment.
• Work alongside field sales, marketing, finance, and enterprise partners to align strategies with organizational, sectoral, and enterprise objectives.
• Implement national strategies with Offer Development, KAM Marketing, Sales AVPs, and regional marketing leaders.
• Cultivate and mentor directors and managers in business insights, clinical and product expertise, and leadership skills.
• Offer education and insights on national and regional market trends.
• Set objectives and targets, create account metrics, and provide continuous performance oversight.
• Assist the Vice President of Key Account Management in enhancing key account management capabilities.
• Ensure the seamless execution of customer solutions through clinical and economic services, programs, and cross-functional resources.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in sales, account management, marketing, finance, or general management/consulting.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management is essential.
• Experience in customer management is preferred, with a strong grasp of GPO models, joint value creation, and customer solutions.
• Financial acumen, market knowledge, and proficiency in analytics are required.
• Experience in contract management and negotiation is necessary.
• Familiarity with the healthcare marketplace is crucial.
• Knowledge of the medical device market is preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking skills are required.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities are essential.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with peers, leaders, and senior executives.
• Proficient in navigating organizational structures and decision-making processes.
• Ability to switch between big-picture perspectives and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
