AVP, Commercial Credit Officer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conducts in-depth credit analysis and financial assessments for both new and existing loan applications.

• Reviews financial statements related to intricate credit requests.

• Collaborates with the salesperson to effectively structure each loan application.

• Engages in borrower interviews with the applicant and/or designated third parties.

• Reaches out to the salesperson for additional information necessary for underwriting activities.

• Works alongside customers and the sales team to gather essential credit information.

• Confirms the total and current exposure of existing borrowers within the loan systems.

• Produces credit memorandums that encompass detailed financial analyses.

• Evaluates and presents recommended actions to senior management.

• Ensures that loan files are maintained accurately and thoroughly.

• Confirms that all necessary authorizations, compliance, and approvals are secured prior to closing.

• Creates and oversees approval processes and related documentation.

• Fosters strong working relationships with the sales team.

• Suggests process and operational improvements to enhance efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of training and experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis or fleet/equipment leasing.

• Deep understanding and proficiency in traditional financial analysis.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills to adhere to loan committee deadlines.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

• Collaborative team player, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
