This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
β’ Assist in optimizing capital across various entities and regulatory frameworks, including initiatives related to economic frameworks and internal models.
β’ Aid in Bermuda regulatory projects by establishing production processes for group supervision, assessing and implementing modifications to the regulatory framework, and spearheading the development of internal capital models.
β’ Drive transformative changes within capital management across all functions to enhance system and modeling capabilities while improving reporting timelines.
β’ Contribute to model validation and governance efforts to ensure a robust control framework, along with transparency and documentation of critical models within the capital management function.
β’ Facilitate the company's growth initiatives by assessing new business opportunities, including reinsurance and acquisitions, ensuring that capital is accurately valued in accordance with pricing standards and in-force reporting.
β’ Assist in the transition of new business across all capital management functions to guarantee a smooth shift from pricing to in-force reporting.
β’ Collaborate with the ALM team on asset deliverables.
β’ Must be a qualified Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or Institute of Actuaries, or a career ASA with over 7 years of experience post-ASA.
β’ At least 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a preference for backgrounds in valuation, modeling, or capital management.
β’ Familiarity with regulatory capital frameworks (e.g., US RBC, Bermuda EBS, Solvency II) and rating agency capital standards (e.g., Fitch Prism, AM Best BCAR).
β’ A bachelor's degree is required, ideally in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline.
β’ Extensive experience with AXIS or comparable actuarial projection software.
β’ Proficient in financial analysis of income statements, balance sheets, and capital projections.
β’ Experience with actuarial projection or valuation software, database applications, and business intelligence tools.
β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to creatively approach and resolve complex process challenges.
β’ Capable of managing multiple assignments and adhering to deadlines.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
