AVP, Agency Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of Agency Services SLAs and KPIs to guarantee that performance targets are consistently met or surpassed.

• Create and uphold policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and current regulatory standards.

• Offer strategic direction and expertise across all distribution channels, such as Brokerage, Broker-Dealer, Financial Institutions, Bank IBD, and Variable/Securities.

• Set up and oversee process controls and metrics to ensure precision, promptness, quality, and budget compliance for both internal and external operations.

• Manage relationships with vendors and other third-party entities supporting Agency Services, ensuring that contractual obligations, SLAs, and KPIs are met on schedule and within budget.

• Propel the strategic direction of Agency Services by actively participating in company initiatives, committees, process improvement efforts, and product development projects.

• Advocate for organizational change by involving process owners and stakeholders in the execution of strategic enhancements.

• Guarantee adherence to regulatory, financial, and SOX controls; comply with all relevant sales and product compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with internal audit and controls teams on risk assessments, ensuring prompt resolution of audit findings.

• Lead, nurture, and engage Agency Services teams through regular communication, skip-level check-ins, and employee development planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in a life and/or annuity insurance company or agency, including more than 4 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience leading Agency Services, Service Center, or similar functions with an emphasis on commissions, contracting, and licensing administration.

• Familiarity with variable annuity, securities, annuity, and life insurance products.
