This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +10 more states.
β’ Collaborate with airport operations management, commercial airline property management, architects, and sales channels involved with landside operations at airports.
β’ Build and maintain professional relationships, educate stakeholders on Daktronics solutions, and influence the design of visual communication systems.
β’ Deliver engaging presentations in a variety of settings to a diverse audience within this market.
β’ Work alongside sales teams from the Out of Home, Commercial, and Spectacular markets as necessary to create effective engagement and proposal strategies.
β’ Involve pertinent sales and technical support teams as needed, including Application Engineering, Project Management, and Subject Matter Experts.
β’ Identify new business prospects at airports.
β’ Manage these opportunities throughout the complete customer journey (sales cycle).
β’ Gain a solid understanding of the capital improvement planning and design process, as well as the involved stakeholders.
β’ Familiarize yourself with various procurement methods (Design-build, CM@R, Progressive DB, etc.) and their relation to the organization of visual communications systems design packages.
β’ Provide successful quotations and proposals, and follow up from the bidding to negotiation stages.
β’ Organize, prioritize, and document sales activities.
β’ Create and implement a weekly sales plan that includes customer meetings, presentations, trade shows, cold calls, planned calls, research, and follow-up.
β’ Utilize Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to oversee accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all customer interaction activities.
β’ Apply Challenger Sales concepts during the selling process.
β’ A bachelor's degree in sales, business, economics, marketing, a technical field, or a related area.
β’ Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal and written abilities.
β’ Capability to develop and deliver compelling presentations on Daktronics products and services.
β’ Proven ability to establish and sustain relationships with sales partners.
β’ Proficient computer skills encompassing but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
β’ Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment effectively.
β’ The chosen candidate must be willing to travel by air and ground throughout North America and adhere to the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy.
β’ Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
β’ Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
